Weekend tour: Trekking in Sila (3 days/2 nights)

Day One:Arrival- Taverna
Arrival and accommodation in the already booked rooms in the village of Mancuso. Transfer to Taverna. Meeting with a naturalistic guide who is going to accompany the group along the path called “the valley of the mills” and is going to indicate other CAI routes to follow. Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day Two: the whole day in the Cupe Valleys.
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Sersale, meeting with the naturalistic guide. The whole morning and early afternoon will be dedicated to the excursion in the Cupe Valleys- the Canyon and the Hell Waterfall. The spectacular waterfalls immersed in a setting of subtropical vegetation offer the hikers the opportunity to live the unique experience of swimming the clear and uncontaminated water of the streams. These valleys are authentic and incomparable geological monuments. The Cupe Valleys are a temple of plant and animal biodiversity with authentic botanical rarities that arouse great interest even within the scientific community. Among the animal species there are the Egyptian vulture, the royal owl, the salamander with glasses, the spotted salamander, the Apennine wolf, the black pig and donkey, etc… At the end of the excursion we are going to visit a farm to taste local products. Picnic with sandwiches previously prepared by the hotel with local cold cuts inside. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Typical silan dinner and overnight.
Day Three: BUTURO
Breakfast at the hotel and leave for a naturalistic area of Buturo, Tiriolo. A naturalistic guide expert in this area will lead us to discover new and spectacular paths in the area. Sandwiches prepared by the hotel. In the afternoon it is possible (optional) to enjoy one of the paths of the “Le orme nel Parco Adventure Park”. A park of three hectares immersed in a beech forest, in the heart of the Sila National Park, in one of the most striking and uncontaminated environments where you can breathe pure air. Because, in a specific point of the Little Sila, the cleanest air in Europe has been detected, even healthier than that of the North Pole. It is possible to find entertainment for adults and children with paths designed for each age. Departure.
